I'm Tegan — founder of Blac Haus.
Blac Haus was built on a simple belief: that a home should be timeless, not just beautiful — designed for real life, not for the moment it's photographed.
My work is devoted to interiors with depth, permanence, and quiet elegance. Spaces that feel established rather than styled — layered with intention, grounded in character, and shaped around the people who live in them.
Before Blac Haus, I spent fifteen years building a career across business administration, personal training, and supporting the operations of my husband's company — work that taught me how to think strategically, manage detail, and bring quiet rigour to every project I take on.
But design has been the through-line since I was a child. I've pursued it through specialist study — including in-depth training in SketchUp, renovation, and styling — and through years of reading, observing, and refining how I think about space. I chose a path of deep self-direction over a single formal track, because I believe interior design is an art shaped by intuition and individuality, not formula.
What I bring to Blac Haus is the intersection of both: the discipline to deliver a project well, and the creative conviction to make it unmistakably yours.
I'm drawn to European architecture, traditional detailing, and the kind of beauty that only deepens with time.
If that resonates with you, I would love to begin the conversation.
